Buru Energy is engaged in various projects across Western Australia. Some of our key projects include:

Canning Basin

The Canning Basin is one of Australia’s most prolific hydrocarbon basins. Buru Energy has a strong presence in this region, with exploration activities here aimed at uncovering new sources of oil and gas. Buru Energy has a 100% interest and is the operator of the Rafael 1 condensate rich gas discovery in the Canning Basin.

Laurel Formation

The Laurel Formation, located within the Canning Basin, has been a focus of Buru Energy’s exploration efforts. Buru has made significant strides in understanding the geological potential of this formation. The most well-developed of these resources is the Yulleroo Gasfield with four gas wells.
